Through these terrorist acts, T\u00fcrkiye has gone through a lot of tragedy. Moreover, all of these attacks were committed by a transnational network; thus, making T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s counter-terrorism experience unique.Despite this experiences scope and uniqueness, T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s counter-terrorism efforts are under-researched. Due to Turkish efforts against PKK terrorism in the last four decades, counter-terrorism has become a specific area for securocrats. This situation has driven away scholarly interest in the topic. Another reason was the tactic adopted by PKK militants, which focused on exploiting freedom of speech in academia by using it for mere propaganda. Eventually, Turkish counter-terrorism stayed as an under-researched area.This book is focusing on to say something on the issue in a scholarly fashion to advance the discussion on the topic.
