Nas\u0131l ki d\u00fc\u015fman kuvvetlerinin birliklerinde farkl\u0131 \u00fclkelerin askerleri yer alabildiyse, T\u00fcrk ordusunda da yak\u0131n co\u011frafyan\u0131n askerleri yer bulmu\u015ftur. Bunlardan biri de \u0130stikl\u00e2l Harbi boyunca T\u00fcrk Ordusu\u2019nda m\u00fclaz\u0131m-\u0131 sani (te\u011fmen) ve m\u00fclaz\u0131m-\u0131 evvel (\u00fcste\u011fmen) olarak hizmet vermi\u015f olan \u0130ranl\u0131 Seyyid Ahmed Canpulad\u2019d\u0131r. \u0130kinci \u0130n\u00f6n\u00fc Muharebesi\u2019nden sonra grup kararg\u00e2h\u0131na al\u0131nan Canpulad, B\u00fcy\u00fck Taarruz\u2019da da bir subay olarak yer alarak Milli M\u00fccadale\u2019ye kalbinden tan\u0131kl\u0131k etmi\u015ftir.1900 y\u0131l\u0131nda \u0130zmir\u2019de do\u011fan ve Kuleli Askeri \u0130dadisi\u2019nde e\u011fitim g\u00f6ren Canpulad, \u0130stikl\u00e2l Harbi\u2019nden sonra \u0130ran\u2019a giderek orada albayl\u0131\u011fa (serheng) kadar y\u00fckselmi\u015ftir. \u0130stikl\u00e2l Harbi\u2019nin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra \u0130ran Ordusu ile T\u00fcrkmensahra Harek\u00e2t\u0131, Luristan Harek\u00e2t\u0131, Senger-\u015eeyh Harek\u00e2t\u0131 ve II. D\u00fcnya Sava\u015f\u0131 s\u0131ras\u0131nda Rus ve \u0130ngilizlerin i\u015fgal etti\u011fi G\u00fcney Azerbaycan\u2019da da sava\u015fm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. 12 Temmuz 1949 y\u0131l\u0131nda albayl\u0131ktan emekli olmu\u015f ve 20 Mart 1998 tarihinde vefat etmi\u015ftir. Elinizdeki \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma, T\u00fcrk-\u0130ran tarihinin \u00e7e\u015fitli safhalar\u0131 hakk\u0131nda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar yapan Mehmet \u00c7al\u0131\u015fkan\u2019\u0131n gayretleriyle ortaya \u00e7\u0131karken, \u0130stikl\u00e2l Harbi tarihimize farkl\u0131 bir pencereden bakabilme imk\u00e2n\u0131 sa\u011flamas\u0131yla da \u00f6nem arz ediyor. Yabanc\u0131 k\u00f6kenli askerlerin Milli M\u00fccadele\u2019ye katk\u0131s\u0131 konusunda \u00e7ok az say\u0131da belge ve hat\u0131rat vard\u0131r. Seyyid Canbulad\u2019\u0131n an\u0131lar\u0131 bu noktada \u00e7ok \u00f6nem kazan\u0131yor.
