Simone de Beauvoir b\u00f6ylece cinsiyet meselesini do\u011fan\u0131n alan\u0131ndan \u00e7\u0131kar\u0131p k\u00fclt\u00fcr\u00fcn ve tarihin alan\u0131na yerle\u015ftirirken, bir anlamda toplumsal cinsiyet tart\u0131\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131 da erkenden ba\u015flatm\u0131\u015f olur. Bunu yaparken hem varolu\u015f\u00e7uluk, fenomenoloji ve yap\u0131salc\u0131 antropoloji gibi kendi \u00e7a\u011fda\u015f\u0131 olan d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnceleri hem de Hegel ve Marx gibi felsefe klasiklerini cinsiyet d\u00fczleminde yeniden okur.
