Burada \u201csol\u201d propaganda yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 iddias\u0131yla tutukland\u0131. \u00dc\u00e7 ay tutuklu kald\u0131ktan sonra, Eyl\u00fcl 1931\u2019de aklanarak Konya Ortaokulu\u2019na atand\u0131. \u00c7e\u015fitli kereler tutuklamalarla cezaland\u0131r\u0131lan yaz\u0131n ya\u015fam\u0131nda 1946\u2019da Aziz Nesin ve R\u0131fat Ilgaz\u2019la birlikte \u00e7\u0131kard\u0131\u011f\u0131 haftal\u0131k mizah dergisi Markopa\u015fa\u2019n\u0131n \u00f6nemli bir yeri oldu. Bu dergide \u00e7\u0131kan yaz\u0131lar nedeniyle de 1947 y\u0131l\u0131nda cezaevine girdi. Sabahattin Ali, s\u00fcrekli izlendi\u011fi ve T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de ya\u015fayabilme ko\u015fullar\u0131n\u0131n zorla\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnerek yurtd\u0131\u015f\u0131na ka\u00e7ma karar\u0131 ald\u0131. 2 Nisan 1948\u2019de Bulgaristan s\u0131n\u0131r\u0131ndan \u00e7\u0131kmak isterken, bug\u00fcn de tam ayd\u0131nlat\u0131lamam\u0131\u015f bir faili me\u00e7hul cinayete kurban gitti.
