Osmanl\u0131 tarihi ile u\u011fra\u015fanlar i\u00e7in gerek kroniklerde, gerekse ba\u015fka eski tarihlerde, \u00f6zellikle Osmanl\u0131 tarihi’yle ilgili belgelerde ge\u00e7en bir \u00e7ok deyimlerin manas\u0131n\u0131 anlamak \u00e7ok zor, bazen de imkans\u0131z olmakta; b\u00f6ylece tarih metinlerinin eksiksiz de\u011ferlendirilmemesi gibi bir durum meydana gelmektedir. Osmanl\u0131 tarihi ile u\u011fra\u015fan gen\u00e7 nesiller i\u00e7in ise bu durum daha b\u00fcy\u00fck bir problem oluyor.
